Computer Coordinators Networking Group Three years ago, technology representatives from ATT schools started a Computer Coordinators’ Networking Group. A project of the Goldman Computer Department, this group of technology experts meets 4 times a year to discuss what is new in technology and share ideas from ATT schools. In addition, technology projects that would be beneficial to enhancing technology in ATT schools were part of the goals of the group. Over the last two years, the group has created a Scope and Sequence Curriculum for Technology as well as a list of software currently in use in ATT schools. Project ideas for the 2009-2010 year include: 1) Creation of a list of online teacher resources with a one line description of the site. 2) Creation of a page on the ATT web site for the Computer Coordinators Networking Group. Demonstrations of new technologies are part of meeting agendas. This year’s focus will include the latest interventions for SMART Board interactive technology. The Computer Coordinators Networking Group is the front line for communication to schools about innovative ideas in educational computing.
