ELAN Educational Center

The ELAN Educational Center is a strong resource for parents with children having special academic and behavioral needs. It provides support in the following areas:

Answering educational questions including

  • academic struggles at school
  • avoiding homework

Addressing behavioral concerns including

  • difficult morning and evening routines
  • teasing and bullying siblings
  • refusals in eating, homework, and/or household chores

Developing effective advocacy skills


Referring to and collaborating with ancillary professionals

  • refers parents to appropriate professionals
  • collaborates to assist with uniform delivery of services for school and home

Understanding special learning needs

  • educate  parents to develop a better understanding of their child’s special learning
