Experiential Programs

Learning does not only take place in the classroom. ATT promotes a wide scope of experiential programs as well. It encourages travel, study in Israel, and recreation to foster all aspects of the child in a Jewish environment.

Panim El Panim

ATT through a special grant from the Federation and in cooperation with the Ida Crown Jewish Academy sponsors the Panim El Panim program where Jewish high school students travel to Washington D.C. and have the opportunity to learn about American government and the Jewish community.

March of the Living

ATT is the Midwest coordinator of the March of the Living experience to Poland and to Israel. This trip, perhaps the most powerful that any high school student can experience, teaches our students about the Jewish community that was prior, during, and after the Second World War. The students visit concentration camps, destroyed communities, and remnants of European Jewry to understand the gravity of the Holocaust while at the same time proclaiming that we the Jewish Community survived this horror. The trip culminates in Israel.

Netivot Israel

ATT in partnership with Yeladim sponsors the Netivot program, a special educational opportunity for sophomores in ATT high schools. Students conclude their sophomore year by participating in a six-week course in a yeshiva/ulpana/ girls high school in Israel which teaches them not only about their heritage but integrates them into Israeli society.

Annual Young People's Shabbaton

Recreational settings are used to tap into the spiritual, creative, and athletic side of children and teens. Our special weekend Shabbaton serves over 100 children yearly.
