Since grade school, we constantly hear that we have to "strengthen our emunah," but do you sometimes feel like you're falling short? It's the "foundation of everything," they tell us; "It's particularly important to instill it in your kids," but do you ever wonder if you're doing a good enough job? Or do you wonder how you could improve this core quality? Come and learn a practical approach to strengthening your emunah - for yourself and for your kids!

2017 Tisha B'Av Program
The ATT’s Kirsche Department of Holocaust Studies invites the community to a meaningful Tisha B’Av program (for adults and children ages 16+) at the Illinois Holocaust Museum, 9603 Woods Drive, Skokie, on Tuesday, August 1st at 1:30 - 5:00 (Museum admission closes at 4:00; Mincha at 4:15). Complimentary program includes videos, a personal narrative, main exhibit tour (for tour times, please see Read More below). No pre-registration. Also this year is a Youth Program for Girls ages 12 and up. Program begins at 2:15 and ends at 3:45. Program includes age appropriate video, discussion and main exhibit tour. ATT's 88th Annual Gala
Join the excitement on Sunday, November 19th, at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare as ATT celebrates Striking a Chord in Education at its 88th Banquet when Mrs. Susan Feuer, past director of the Dr. Oscar A. & Bernice Novick PTACH Program and current administrator of REACH Student Services with the Barney Goldberg Paragon Education Award, and the winners of the Eighth Annual Hartman Family Foundation Educator of the Year Awards, Ms. Stacy Daybook (Arie Crown Hebrew Day School); Mrs. Alise Gold (Akiba-Schechter Jewish Day School); and Rabbi Yoel Rosenberg (Yeshivas Tiferes Tzvi) will be recognized for their outstanding commitment to enhancing our children’s education. Please come for the festivities beginning with a Buffet Dinner at 5 pm, followed by the Awards Ceremony at 6:15 pm, and concluding with Shlomo Katz in Concert, sponsored in memory of Evan Goldberg Maling, and Dessert.

ATT Presents Joyful Parenting: Using the Nurtured Heart Approach
Are you overwhelmed by negativity, intensity and challenging behaviors? Then join the Nurtured Heart Approach® introductory workshop on Monday, May 2, from 8-9 PM, at the Associated Talmud Torahs, 3531 Madison Street in Skokie. There is no admission fee for the May 2nd session.
2018 ATT's Evening with the Stars
The ATT thanks the community for its enthusiastic support of its 2018 Awards Presentation and Annual Meeting, An Evening with the Stars, held May 8th. Over 275 people gathered together to elect the 2018-2019 ATT Board and honor ATT students and teachers as they received various awards and scholarships. Following the presentations, a Glittering Star Reception was held where the celebration continued with more photo ops of the awardees and delicious refreshments.
The Eighth Annual Hartman Family Foundation Educator of the Year Awards

PTACH's Melava Malka on February 14, 2015 Was a Huge Success
The ATT and PTACH thank the more than 200 people who attended the PTACH 2015 Essence Café this past Motzei Shabbos. They were treated to a beautiful evening. They were inspired by Shari Furnstahl’s personal story and message about people who learn differently and the success they can achieve. Mazel Tov to Mrs. Esther Pomerantz (JDBY), Mrs. Tziporah Safirstein (ACHDS), and Mrs. Yonina Yovits (ACHDS) who received the PTACH Inclusion Teacher of the Year Award. Thank you to all the volunteers who made the evening so successful.
2nd Midwest Holocaust Symposium – Update
ATT thanks the over 400 people who attended this week’s Second Midwest Holocaust Symposium at the Illinois Holocaust Museum commemorating the 70th anniversary of the liberation of the concentration camps. HaRav Yisroel Meir Lau’s important message was both meaningful and inspirational. Special recognition goes to Mr. Rudolph Tessler and Mr. Robert Hartman for the program’s vision and to the Hartman Family Foundation for its generous sponsorship of the program.
31st Annual Rabbi Isaac Mayefsky Memorial Lecture
The 31st Annual Rabbi Isaac Mayefsky Memorial Parenting Lecture will be held Motzoei Shabbos, December 2, 2017, 8:00 pm at the Associated Talmud Torahs, (ICJA Entrance - 8233 Central Park Avenue), Skokie.
2017 Tisha B'Av Program Recap
The ATT’s Kirsche Department of Holocaust Studies expresses its gratitude for the beautiful response to its Tisha B’Av Program at the Illinois Holocaust Museum & Education Center. Over150 attendees demonstrated that the victims of the Holocaust, their suffering and their memories, will never be forgotten. Special thanks to Ken Cooper and his capable museum staff for their sensitive and respectful accommodation of this event. The ATT thanks Mr. Steen Metz for sharing his experiences and perspectives of the Holocaust to a riveted audience, our museum tour guides, Vivian Bloch, Laurie Hasten, Faye Levinson, and Marshall Meyers, Hatzalah, and our parent volunteers for their assistance in making the ATT’s Tisha B’Av Program at the Illinois Holocaust Museum a meaningful experience for all those who attended. Special thanks to Marshall Meyers for leading the Tisha B’Av Youth Program for Girls.
