Three ATT Schools win 8 SMART Boards from Legacy Heritage Fund Grant!
In the last couple of years, ATT schools have received SMART
Boards through a combination of grants, private donors, and/or school budgetary
funding. The ATT is providing teacher education in this most remarkable method
of instruction, to allow teachers to become even more proficient in their use.
Depending on the comfort level of the teachers with the technology, there are
different levels of classroom integration.
Research has shown that effective use of interactive
whiteboard technology causes:
Improved student enthusiasm and
motivation in the classroom
Positive impact on student
attentiveness, engagement and achievement
Class time that is more focused
and efficient
Facilitated instruction for
students with varied learning styles –visual, auditory, or kinesthetic
ATT is committed to intensive teacher training in the use of
interactive whiteboard technology as well as the use of millions of classroom
learning resources that teachers can use for General Studies and with
adaptation for Judaic studies.
