What is ATT?The Associated Talmud Torahs (ATT) of Chicago serves the greater Chicagoland Jewish community as its Central Agency for Religious Education. Created in 1929, the ATT has provided a quality Jewish education to its Jewish youth through various educational opportunities. Currently, the ATT has an enrollment of 6000 students in its schools and an additional 1000 in its summer programs.As the supervisory agency of a network of more than 20 regional schools, special education and learning disabilities programs, the ATT plays a prominent role with each segment of its schools’ populations. Not only does the ATT provide direct resources to its schools and teachers, it also supplies its students and parents with a myriad of programs and services. The ATT assists in curricular planning, provides professional development of teachers, and supplies a host of educational resources to its schools. It has responded to the needs of those students who have special needs with its various special education programs. It offers a variety of scholarship programs to help ensure that all Jewish children will be able to participate in Jewish programs. The Associated Talmud Torahs and its schools are supported by the Jewish United Fund/Jewish Federation.
